The GIANTS Foundation is delighted to welcome Melanie Kurzydlo as the latest addition to the Board.
Ms Kurzydlo is a successful businesswoman who’s passion and drive to support organisations that align with her own values is the key to her success.
With sport being at the centre of her upbringing, Ms Kurzydlo has witnessed the incredible aspects that it can bring to an individual’s purpose and life.
Ms Kurzydlo has applied and committed herself to the sporting world over the years due to the boundless attributes it provides to herself and those around her.
Australian Rules plays a central role in her family’s life and Ms Kurzydlo is proud of the desire and determination that her wife and two sons share for the sport.,
The GIANTS are proud to have the AFLW team for all of NSW and the ACT, and Ms Kurzydlo is hoping that her daughter, the latest addition to her family, will also get to witness the positive impact football can have on her life.
Ms Kurzydlo is the Director of Strategy and Business Relations at Growthbuilt where she partners with CEO’s and executives to lead strong teams of industry professionals in the Property, Development and Construction Industry.
With a strong passion to drive diversity and change throughout the industry, Ms Kurzydlo is a member of Property Council Australia and sits on the PCA Diversity Committee.
She is also a board member of CoreNet Global Australia, UNSW Foundation Limited, and a driving force of Interbuild, the first LGBTI+ property group to raise awareness of related topics within the industry.
A winner of the 2019 NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction) Crystal Vision Award for the advancements of Women, Ms Kurzydlo continually aims to assist in driving diverse and inclusive initiatives for the property development and construction industry.
The GIANTS Foundation’s aim is to enhance the lives of people through education and awareness, and utilize the positive influence that sport can have, to make a meaningful difference.
Ms Kurzydlo joins the Board chaired by Paul Lewis MBE and will sit alongside Margot Faraci, Chris Larsen, Adrian Fonseca and Albert Wong AM as a director.
