Kevin Sheedy will coach against his former club Essendon for the final time this Saturday at ŠKODA Stadium.
Over the coming days, we take a look back at Sheedy’s time at Essendon, the club he led to four premierships in 27 years.
In 1984 Sheedy coached Essendon to their first premiership in 19 years, before going back-to-back against Hawthorn in 1985.
Against all odds, Sheedy then took the “Baby Bombers” to a third premiership against Carlton in 1993.
Seven years later, in what was almost a perfect season, Sheedy and the Bombers were premiers again - this time against Melbourne in 2000.
Essendon coach James Hird, who played under Sheedy in the 93' premiership and captained Essendon in 2000, will go head-to-head against his former coach one last time this Saturday.
Join us as Sheedy looks back at his glory days at Essendon, revealing his unique memories of each premiership.
