The GIANTS will celebrate their 10th season in the AFL with a bold new jumper design that will see the club continue to innovate in 2021.   

Developed in conjunction with new apparel partner PUMA, the new-look designs build on the jumpers of the club’s formative years and are set to be popular with football fans everywhere.    

The club’s traditional orange and charcoal home jumper will see the GIANTS ‘G’ feature more prominently on the front of the jumper rather than positioned to the side as it has been in previous years.

With the GIANTS teaming up with PUMA, who better to design our new jumper than Heath Shaw.

For the first time in the club’s history, 2021 will see the GIANTS play in the same jumper for all home games across Sydney and Canberra, uniting the club’s brand across both regions.  

The new clash jumper sees the club move away from the predominantly white clash strip to celebrate the orange that has become synonymous with the club.  

The all-orange kit is a striking design with a charcoal ‘G’ featured prominently on the front of the jumper.  

The new clash jumper represents a truly unique design across the AFL - this design will be worn with white shorts and be used as the club’s primary clash kit.  

As part of the club’s continued commitment to the Indigenous communities of our regions, the jumper designed by AFL young gun Bobby Hill for the 2020 Sir Doug Nicholls Round will be worn on a number of occasions in the coming years when a predominantly white kit is required.  

The GIANTS wore Hill’s stunning design on three occasions in 2020 and will be worn proudly during the Sir Doug Nicholls Round this season. 

The club’s 10-year bespoke logo will feature inside the collar of all jumpers to mark the significant milestone in 2021.    

GIANTS Chief Executive David Matthews has welcomed the new-look on-field designs.   

“We are delighted with the new designs that our AFL team will wear this year as we celebrate our 10th season in the competition,” said Mr Matthews. 

“Over the past 10 years, the GIANTS have developed a reputation for being innovative in everything we do and these bold designs fit with this ethos. 

“I have no doubt that our members will love these new designs and they’ll prove very popular as we mark this significant milestone across the 2021 season.”
