Veteran defender Sam Reid will play his first game of the season as one of four inclusions in the team to face the Crows at Adelaide Oval on Tuesday night. 

Reid comes in alongside small forward Zac Langdon, tough midfielder Jye Caldwell and veteran ruck Sam Jacobs, who will take on his old side for the first time. 

Fellow veteran Shane Mumford will be managed while Harry Perryman (calf), Brent Daniels (hamstring) and Zac Williams (achilles) are all out with minor injuries. 

"Harry's calf doesn't look like it will come up, Brent is tight in his hamstring and Zac with his Achilles just hasn't responded after the two short breaks," Cameron said.

"Shane, we'll manage. He's played three games in a row. But we're disappointed with the other three, because clearly they're in our best 22.” 

Josh Kelly will also miss a second game with concussion and will look towards a return in Saturday's match against the Demons.

"Josh's week has been a bit patchy. Clearly, the hit in the Fremantle game has knocked him around a fair bit,” Cameron said. 

"We were expecting him to get up for this game and we're disappointed that he's not. But we're hopeful that he's ready for the next game on Saturday.

"It's been a bit patchy, but he's started to come out the other side over probably the last 24 hours. But it just becomes too late on the concussion protocol.

"Hopefully he can be back on Saturday, but in saying that we'll be determined by what the doctors say. If he's right, then he gets picked. If he's not, then he has to sit out again." 

Cameron will come up against former senior assistant coach and current Crows coach Matthew Nicks for the first time on Tuesday night.

"We were clearly disappointed to lose him ... he's a terrific person and a terrific coach," Cameron said. 

"But he was always destined to become a senior coach and that's what he's fulfilling at the moment.

"But on the weekend, we're arch enemies. We know the situation we're in, we just need to keep winning. We can't afford to drop any games." 

The GIANTS take on the Crows in Tuesday night footy at Adelaide Oval.
