Forward Toby Greene and midfielder Matt de Boer will both miss Friday night’s clash against Essendon at Metricon Stadium.
Scans on Monday afternoon confirmed that the pair both suffered hamstring strains on Sunday and are likely to miss two to three games each.
Following the Friday night match against Essendon, the GIANTS fly to Perth to play the Swans on Thursday, August 13 and expect to take on the Eagles and Dockers in rounds 13 and 14.
Greene, 26, came from the ground in the first quarter and took no further part in the match.
De Boer, who hasn’t missed a game in 2020, suffered the injury in the closing minutes of the 26-point win over the Suns.
