Greater Western Sydney GIANTS coach Kevin Sheedy has praised his young forward line after stand out performances from Jonathon Patton and Jeremy Cameron against Richmond.
Number one draft pick Patton showed his potential on debut, marking strongly and kicking his first goal.

“It was great that Patton really gave the team an enormous amount of encouragement on his leading capabilities and gave them some confidence to get the ball down to him and Jeremy Cameron,” said Sheedy.
“To see two talented forwards up there taking marks the way they were, giving leadership in the wet conditions was great for the team.
“Having both of them up there absolutely excites me.”
Asked how good his young charges could be, Sheedy said simply:
“Hang about!”
