Greater Western Sydney GIANTS CEO David Matthews has declared the inaugural GIANTS ladies lunch a resounding success.
The event was held at Daltone House in Prymont on Friday, hosted by Melissa Doyle and David Koch and attracted 430 guests. The day culminated with a fashion parade from the GIANTS playing group.
Matthews said that the fledging club was thrilled with the response to the lunch which kicked off a successful week for the club, with the GIANTS recording their second win of the year against Port Adelaide on Saturday.
"We have developed a strong reputation for quality events and it was a massive effort from a lot of people across the business," Matthews said.
"It was a great day of entertainment and it was fantastic that our football department and players were heavily involved in the event.
"We honoured our first Woman of the Year, a deserving recipient in GIANTS' House Mother Melissa Lambert."
