Greater Western Sydney GIANTS Co-Captain Callan Ward says the young team still has plenty to play for with one game left in their inaugural season.

Speaking from the club’s training session at SKODA Stadium, Ward said the GIANTS were looking to improve on a number of key areas this week after a disappointing display against St Kilda last week.

“We’re pretty run down but I think it’s really important for us to bounce back this week against the Kangaroos after a disappointing game last week,” Ward said.

“There were a few things last week that didn’t go according to plan so we need to improve on those areas and keep working hard on the training track in the lead up.

“Hopefully we start well this weekend and find that form that we’ve had all year.”

Ward said that the young GIANTS had been thrilled with the reception that they’ve received at SKODA Stadium this year and encouraged the orange army to get down to the final game of the club’s inaugural season.

“It’s been amazing out here and great to see all the orange colours in the stands. I encourage all the GIANTS supporters to come out this weekend for the last game of the year,” he said.
