The GIANTS will play their final match of the 2013 Toyota AFL Premiership season against the Gold Coast Suns at Metricon Stadium on Sunday, September 1, at 1.10pm EST.
It will also mark Kevin Sheedy’s final match as Head Coach of the GIANTS after a career spanning more than 1000 games as a player and coach.
The four-time premiership coach will lead the GIANTS in their 44th AFL game before handing over the reins to Senior Assistant coach Leon Cameron in 2014.
The AFL’s two new expansion clubs, the GIANTS and the Suns are already developing a fierce rivalry with the score line currently standing at 2-1 in favour of the Suns.
