SUMMARY
Greater Western Sydney is still chasing its first win heading into round seven, which is the round when the club grabbed four points for the first time in its history against Gold Coast last year. The Giants should also take some confidence into this match following a competitive showing against Essendon. They will also be buoyed by finally playing their first match of the season at ŠKODA Stadium.
Despite all of that, Kevin Sheedy's men should brace themselves for a fierce onslaught from an Adelaide side desperate for victory. Playing without Taylor Walker for the first time since his knee injury, the Crows were impressive in an 11-point defeat to Hawthorn last week, but the loss still dropped them to 2-4 for the season. They won't have everything their own way at Sydney Olympic Park, but they will have their eyes on a strong win to start moving back up the AFL ladder

THE SIX POINTS
1. These sides met twice in 2012, with Adelaide prevailing on both occasions. Their first ever match-up was a 46-point Crows win in GWS' fourth match, before a comprehensive 119-point Adelaide triumph in round 16.
2. Adelaide's score of 27.16 (178) against GWS last year was its highest of the season and equaled the fourth-highest score in its 23-year history. The Crows' all-time record of 30.8 (188) came against Essendon in round 10, 2006.
3. Sheedy has a good record against the Crows. The four-time premiership winner has won 15 of his 26 matches against Adelaide, with his last victory against them coming in his final year at the Bombers in 2007.
4. Both sides have struggled offensively this season, with the Giants ranked 15th for total points scored and the Crows sitting 13th after six rounds.
5. GWS may find an advantage in the middle of the ground this week as the young side is ranked a lofty third in the AFL for centre clearances. The Crows, meanwhile, sit 18th in that category.
6. Adelaide enjoys traveling to Sydney. The Crows have won their past five games in the city, including four straight across town at the SCG. Overall the Crows are 12-5 in the harbour city.
