After a long hard summer of training, the GIANTS preparations step up a gear tomorrow with the first intra-club practice match at Gipps Road Oval, Greystanes.

With very few injury concerns, it will be close to a full strength GIANTS squad with Tom Scully, Phil Davis, Jonathon Patton and Callan Ward all raring to go.

It will be the first time fans get to see young draft picks Lachie Whitfield, Jono O’Rourke, Lachie Plowman, Kristan Jaksch and Aidan Corr take to the field for the GIANTS.

Bret Thornton and Stephen Gilham will run out with their new teammates for the first time after crossing from Carlton and Hawthorn respectively during the off-season.

The match will get underway at 9.30am, with all fans welcome to come and support the players as they build towards the NAB Cup clash against Sydney and Carlton at Blacktown International Sportspark on Sunday February 24 at 4.40pm.
