The Slater & Gordon GIANTS Academy Under 15 squad has taken out the Division three V-Line Country Championships in Melbourne.
After convincing wins over the first two days of the Carnival the GIANTS Academy triumphed over Dandenong by 50 points in the Grand Final.
AFL Victoria run the V-Line Country Championships which are designed to showcase the Regional AFL talent at the U15 age.
Slater & Gordon Academy Manager Lachlan Buszard said this was an exciting milestone for the club's junior development pathway.
"To go undefeated over the course of the carnival is really exciting for the players and for the Academy as a whole.
"We've seen some really promising signs from the squad which is made up of players from Western Sydney, Broken Hill, Canberra and Rural NSW.
"The players also went to the Collingwood v Carlton Blockbuster over the weekend and for some of them, it was the first time that they had ever been to the MCG. Hopefully we will get to see some of these guys run out in GIANTS colours on the MCG one day," Buszard said.
