Getting to Saturday's blockbuster Battle of the Bridge between the GIANTS and Swans will be easier than ever with Sydney Trains operating services direct from Central Station to Sydney Olympic Park.

With a record crowd expected at Spotless Stadium on Saturday for the game at 2.10pm, direct services will run every 20 minutes from midday to 7pm, making it quicker and easier to get to and from one of the biggest games of the season. 

Sydney Olympic Park station is situated only a short stroll away from Spotless Stadium, home of the GIANTS.

Free train travel is included for GIANTS members and ticket holders for all games at Spotless with fans of both teams urged to buy tickets early to avoid disappointment.

General Admission tickets are sold out but fans of both teams can still purchase platinum, gold and silver reserved seats through Ticketmaster. Limited corporate hospitality is also still available.

GIANTS Chief Executive David Matthews said the direct services was an added bonus for AFL fans. 

“It’s been great to include train travel to our games at Spotless Stadium this year and direct services for the Battle of the Bridge is a great outcome for our members, fans and the sporting public right across Sydney,” Matthews said. 

“Spotless Stadium is a world class venue offering great family entertainment and we can’t wait to host the Swans at our home ground. 

“Tickets are selling fast so I encourage all fans to purchase their tickets early to ensure they don’t miss out on what is shaping as one of the biggest sporting events in Sydney this year."
