Midfielders Dylan Shiel and Rhys Palmer will play their first AFL match since Round 1 when the GIANTS play Port Adelaide at StarTrack Oval, Canberra on Saturday.
Shiel has been selected after playing for the UWS GIANTS in the NEAFL last week following a quad injury, while Palmer has overcome a hamstring injury.
Defender Matthew Buntine has also been selected for his first match of the season while Toby Greene (suspension) and Joshua Kelly (hamstring) return after missing last week’s match against Gold Coast.
Josh Hunt is out of the side with knee soreness while Zac Williams, Lachie Plowman, Tom Boyd and Tomas Bugg have been omitted.
Head Coach Leon Cameron said the GIANTS are looking forward to taking on the Power.
"It’s a big challenge against Port Adelaide who sit on top of the ladder. They’re in fantastic form but this is a challenge we’re really looking forward to," said Cameron.
"It’s great to see Matty Buntine rewarded for his fantastic form in the NEAFL and he’ll come into the side and play a defensive role.
"StarTrack Oval is looking in great condition and we’re looking forward to playing in front of our Canberra fans as we look to bounce back this week."

If you can’t get to the ground, the match will be shown live on Fox Footy and 7mate through NSW and the ACT from 2pm.
