1. Battle of the Bridge against the Swans at Spotless Stadium on March 15. Say no more. Just be there.
2. Our new recruits. We’ve added some much needed experience with premierships stars Heath Shaw, Shane Mumford and Josh Hunt and some young guns in Jed Lamb, Tom Boyd and Josh Kelly.
3. Big Pre-season. We’ve put in a hard pre-season campaign including a training camp in Noosa. In 2014 we will move into our state of the art training facility at Sydney Olympic Park.
4. Third year players. After two years in the AFL the likes of Dylan Shiel, Adam Treloar, Curtly Hampton, Devon Smith and Adam Tomlinson are ready to go to the next level.
5. Jeremy Cameron, Jonathon Patton and Tom Boyd. We are now the Land of the GIANTS
6. Leon Cameron. A great addition to the club who has brought ideas, energy and a passion for people and the game. He's also very good looking.
7. Spotless Stadium. Voted by the fans as the best stadium in Australia. Starting with Battle of the Bridge, in 2014 we have eight games there including big Victorian clubs Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon, Richmond and Geelong.
8. NAB Challenge in Canberra. The season kicks off on February 20 under lights at StarTrack Oval Canberra when we play the Swans. We then go to Wagga to play St Kilda on March 1.
9. Great club culture. With our new look player leadership group and emerging young leaders, we are developing a great club culture.
10. Kevin Sheedy. He is the father of the GIANTS and was our inaugural Head Coach. We're thrilled he's staying on to help build the GIANTS into one of the biggest clubs in Australia.
