Defender Adam Kennedy will be available for selection but there are setbacks for Sam Reid and Tom Hutchesson in this week’s Rehab Report, brought to you by Westfund.
The GIANTS have come through Sunday’s clash with the North Melbourne unscathed with no injuries out of the loss.
Defender Adam Kennedy will be available for selection for Friday night’s clash with the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium after overcoming a hamstring injury he suffered in round one.
“He’s good, he’s back in full training now so we’ll get some work into him and he’s available for selection," said GIANTS Head of Medical Cullan Ball.
Draftee Tom Hutchesson will miss another month after re-injuring his hamstring during training last week.
“Unfortunate for ‘Hutch’, he’s likely to miss the next four weeks or so depending on how he goes so we’ll push him up once he’s ready to go,” Ball said.
Veteran Sam Reid will also be sidelined for four to six weeks after suffering a calf injury last week.
“He’s injured his calf so we expect him to miss somewhere between four and six weeks.”
