Get your votes in now for this round’s AFL Mark of the Year with Will Hoskin-Elliott right in contention for the main prize after a phenomenal grab against Geelong.

During a frenetic period of play in the third quarter of Sunday’s match, Hoskin-Elliott - an inclusion in this week’s side - flew high over GIANT Rhys Palmer and Cat Lachie Henderson.

Known for his high-leaping the 186cm enigmatic forward did exactly what he was brought in to do, applying pressure in the forward line and creating run across the wings on his way to 12 touches, five marks, two tackles and a goal.

The incredible hanger was icing on the cake for the 22-year-old who had a season to forget in 2015.

An inaugural pick at number four in the 2012 NAB AFL Draft, Hoskin-Elliott showed what he was capable of in 2014.

The speedy youngster entered the year with 19 games under his belt over two seasons and a reputation for talent yet to be fully realised. He ended it with a further 20 games to his name and a standing as a star on the rise.

He also won the GIANTS Mark Of The Year in 2014 for another huge hanger against Hawthorn at the MCG.

Sunday’s performance against Geelong shows the speedster might be back at his best and ready for many more high-flying performances in the orange and charcoal this season.

AFL fans will be given the chance to vote for their favourite mark and goal each week in order to go into the running for the weekly cash prize of $200 and the major cash prize of $5000 at the end of the season, thanks to Coates Hire and the AFL.
