All GIANTS 2015 Members receive FREE entry to the game by simply scanning your 2015 membership card at the gate. If you are yet to receive your membership card, please visit the staff at the membership marquee at gate D and they will be able to provide entry into this match.

Gate entry is via the corner of Showground Rd and Murray Rose Ave (near the Train Station) and seating is within general admission.


Members can upgrade to a reserved seat using their 2015 membership barcode by clicking here and paying a special members upgrade rate. Please note that certain sections on the western side of the ground within the members stand will be closed for this match due to the Easter Show installation.

Go Green for St Patrick’s Day

Go green at Spotless Stadium on Friday for your chance to win a trip to Ireland!

With thanks to Tourism Ireland, one lucky fan at the GIANTS' NAB Challenge match against Essendon on Friday night will win a holiday valued at $6000 as the GIANTS celebrate St Patrick's Day.

There will also be a Camogie (Ladies Hurling) and Ladies Gaelic Football exhibition game pre-match.

Pre-Match:
 
Join GIANTS players and fans at The Lounge Bar and Café located on the corner of Showground Rd and Murrary Rose Ave before the match.
 
A duo from the GIANTS' band Big Big Sound will play from 5pm with players in attendance from 5.30pm.
 
They will then join the cheersquad who will lead GIANTS members and supporters on a march along Showground Rd to Spotless Stadium at 6.20pm.

Don't forget that pre-match there will also be a Camogie (Ladies Hurling) and Ladies Gaelic Football exhibition game.

Location:

Spotless Stadium is located in the Sydney Olympic Park precinct just minutes from Olympic Park Station and across from ANZ Stadium and Allphones Areana.

Public Transport:

Travelling by trains to Sydney Olympic Park is FREE with your match ticket or membership card and trains depart Lidcombe station every 10 minutes until midnight.

Sydney buses will operate to a regular weekend timetable. Route 525 operates between Parramatta and Burwood via Sydney Olympic Park (cost not included in your match ticket).

Normal non-event weekend transport will be available. Visit the Transport NSW website for more information.

Parking:

Parking is available throughout Sydney Olympic Park. The P1 carpark is in the closest proximity to Spotless Stadium and pre-purchasing tickets to the car parks is recommended. To pre-purchase parking, click here. It is advised to pre-book parking with an NRL match on at ANZ Stadium, or catch public transport where possible.

Changed Stadium Access:

We strongly advise fans to allow extra time to get into Spotless Stadium this Friday night due to the installation of the fence line for the upcoming Sydney Royal Easter Show around the Showgrounds precinct as well as other major events at ANZ Stadium. 

Entry to Spotless Stadium is accessed via the corner of Showground Rd and Murray Rose Ave (near the Train Station) and gate D after walking down Showground Rd. 
Certain sections on the Eastern side of the ground will also be closed for this match due to the Easter Show.

The game will be LIVE on Fox Footy (channel 504) from 7.00pm. The GIANTS will also have full coverage on their Twitter and Facebook pages.

NAB Challenge Rules:

Nine points awarded for goals kicked from outside the 50m arc.

A player awarded a 50m penalty which takes them inside the 50m area can elect either to kick from outside 50 for nine points or kick from inside 50 for six points.

Longer breaks between quarters, if the weather requires.

Rookie list players can be used in games.

Interchange: Rounds one and two - six interchange players plus two substitutes per team.

Unlimited interchanges per team for game.

Tighter interpretation of blocking in marking contests.

Time-on/off: Rounds one and two – no time-on/off in first 15 minutes of each quarter unless a goal is scored or there is a major undue delay. The final five minutes of each quarter reverts to normal time-on/off scenarios.

Trialling of four-umpire system in games over first two weekends.

If any match is drawn, no extra time will be played.

Team:

The GIANTS will name a 29-man squad at midday on Wednesday on gwsgiants.com.au with a final team of 26 players, including the two substitutes, to be named on Friday prior to the match.
