The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS have made three changes to the team for this Sunday’s historic clash against the West Coast Eagles at Blacktown International Sportspark.
Premiership ruckman Dean Brogan will play his first game for the GIANTS, joining teammate Jonathon Giles to take on West Coast’s Dean Cox and Nic Naitanui.
Young midfielder Adam Treloar will make his AFL debut while Adam Tomlinson will make his second appearance for the GIANTS, having taken on the Swans in Round 1.
Treloar joined the GIANTS in 2010 as one of the club’s pre-listed 17-year-old selections. Recruited from the Dandenong Stingrays, the 19-year-old was a member of the 2010 AIS AFL Academy squad.
Out of the GIANTS side are Dom Tyson (injured), Nathan Wilson and Will Hoskin-Elliot (omitted)
Head Coach Kevin Sheedy said his young side was looking forward to the first ever AFL Premiership match in Blacktown.
"We are bringing in an experienced ruckman in Dean Brogan and it will be his first game in a while. We wanted to pick a reasonably experienced side because the West Coast Eagles are a formidable team and they are knocking on the door for another top four position this year,” Sheedy said.
"It’s very exciting to see talented young footballers like Adam Treloar making their debut and Adam Tomlinson getting another shot to make an impact at the elite level.”

HB: Power Cornes Kennedy
C: Palmer Bugg Scully
HF: Coniglio Cameron Tomlinson
F: Greene Giles Smith
