Australian pop rock band 1927 will perform live on the Virgin Australia Stage at Spotless Stadium when the GIANTS host Carlton on Saturday afternoon.
The GIANTS' round 14 match against the Blues will include a half-time show by the band as well as a post-match performance during kick-to-kick on the purpose-built stage just metres from the field.
The 1927 follow Thirsty Merc, Chantoozies & Eurogliders and Ziggy, the Songs of David Bowie who have all taken to the Virgin Australia Stage at GIANTS home games this year.
Known for enduring hits such as That’s When I Think of You, Don’t Forget Me, and, of course, If I Could, 1927 made a devastating entry into the ears of its listeners with the Quintuple Platinum selling album …ish in 1988, which earned the band a slew of ARIA Awards as well as a lot of fans along the way.
Following up …ish with the multi-platinum second album The Otherside, a self-titled third album, and countless live shows at home and abroad, the last couple of decades have certainly earned 1927 legendary status.
Now after more than ten years, 1927 have released a new studio album ‘Generation i’.

The GIANTS take on Carlton at home at Spotless Stadium on Saturday afternoon at 4.35pm with tickets starting from just $48 for two adults and two children.
