After a season marked by significant growth both on and off the field, 2016 continues to be a year of firsts for the GIANTS with over 5,000 members already signed up for 2017 after memberships went on sale just eight days ago.

The GIANTS are well on track to eclipse this year’s membership record of 15,311 members, which was an increase of more than 13 per cent on 2015.

The GIANTS launched the club’s 2017 membership packages eight days ago, and already 5,145 members have signed up or re-signed, a figure well ahead of the 3,156 recorded this time last year, when 2016 memberships had been on sale for three weeks.

The GIANTS didn’t reach the 5000 member mark until mid-November last year.

The current figure is expected to increase when the AFL fixture is announced in the coming weeks and renewal forms arrive in members’ letterboxes in early November.

Interest in the AFL Women’s competition has also been high with over 800 people signing up as Foundation GIANTS Members.

GIANTS AFLW Foundation Membership packages are still available with more AFLW membership options to become available once the AFLW fixture is released.
