The GIANTS have today reached an agreement with the Melbourne Football Club to exchange defender Pat McKenna and picks 51 and 69 for the Demons’ picks 57 and 59 in the 2016 NAB AFL Draft.
The 20-year-old McKenna was selected by the GIANTS with pick 23 of the 2014 NAB AFL Draft and despite being a key player for the GIANTS’ NEAFL team over the past two seasons, is yet to make his AFL debut.
GIANTS General Manager Football Wayne Campbell said: “We appreciate Pat’s contribution to the GIANTS over the past two seasons and thank him for being an important player in our NEAFL Premiership side this year.
“We wish him well in the next stage of his career at Melbourne."
