The GIANTS will head to Blacktown and Wagga Wagga as the fixture for the 2020 Marsh Community Series is unveiled.
The GIANTS will stay close to home as they kick off the preparations for the 2020 season against the Swans at Blacktown International Sportspark on February, 29.
The cross-town rivals will meet for the first time in the new year in what is always a closely contested clash.
Western Sydney will light up with its first taste of AFL football for the year with the same venue also expected to host AFLW matches when the women’s fixture is announced.
Then it’s a trip to GIANTS heartland in southern NSW to take on the reigning Premiers Richmond in a Grand Final re-match at Robertson Oval in Wagga Wagga.
It will be a home game for former Wagga Wagga resident Harry Himmelberg as well as his fellow Riverina friends Jacob Hopper (Leeton), Zac Williams (Narrandera), Matt Flynn (Narrandera), Jeremy Finlayson (Culcairn), Harry Perryman (Collingullie) and Zach Sproule (Albury).
The GIANTS won't play a pre-season fixture at UNSW Canberra Oval as the venue is in use for the T20 Cricket World Cup.
