The GIANTS’ round 23 fixture has been finalised with the GIANTS to play the Gold Coast Suns on a Saturday night at Metricon Stadium.
The game – which could impact where the GIANTS finish on the ladder – will take place at 7:25pm on Saturday, August 23.
The GIANTS play the Swans at GIANTS Stadium this Saturday afternoon, Hawthorn at UNSW Canberra Oval in round 21 and the Western Bulldogs at GIANTS Stadium in round 22 before they take on the Suns.
Gold Coast, who currently sit last on the AFL Ladder, play Collingwood on Sunday, Brisbane in round 21 and Hawthorn in round 22.
The match will be the GIANTS’ first at Gold Coast’s home ground since their eight point win over the Suns in round 20, 2016. It will be the second time that the GIANTS have played Gold Coast in 2019 after the GIANTS’ won by 83 points at GIANTS Stadium in round 11.
