MCG Open Training
The GIANTS will hold an open training session at the MCG on Friday, September 14 ahead of their Semi Final clash with Collingwood.
GIANTS members and fans are asked to gather at Gate 6A at 1:30pm before the GIANTS complete a short training session from 2:00pm.
It will be your last chance to watch your favourite GIANTS in action before Saturday’s Semi Final and fans will also get the chance to get a photo with their favourite GIANT and wish them well.

Pre-match Function
Don’t miss the GIANTS’ official pre-match function at the Imperial Hotel before Saturday’s Semi Final against Collingwood
Situated on Bourke Street, Melbourne the Imperial Hotel is one of Melbourne’s oldest pubs and is just a 20 minute walk from the MCG.
With the function starting at 4:00pm, you’ll want to be on-time as the first 40 GIANTS fans to arrive will receive the once in a lifetime opportunity to stand on the hallowed turf of the MCG and cheer the GIANTS on to the ground as part of the guard of honor.
If you haven’t already got your orange on, you’ll be able to purchase GIANTS merchandise at the Imperial Hotel.
Enjoy one of the food and beverage offers with fellow GIANTS fans before the function finishes at 6:00pm ahead of theSemi Final at7:25pm.

Post Match

Getting There

Game Day
The MCG is easy to access via Melbourne’s public transport network.
Jolimont Station and Richmond Station are the nearest train stations, while Trams have a number of stops along Wellington Parade and in the Melbourne Olympic Park precinct.

Broadcast
The GIANTS’ Semi Final clash with Collingwood will be broadcast live on Channel 7 in Sydney and Canberra from 7:00pm and on Fox Footy from 6:30pm. You can also watch the match live on the Foxtel Now and AFL App on a subscription basis.
Radio broadcasts of the game will be available on the ABC, Triple M and Macquarie 954am in Sydney and on ABC Radio in Canberra.
