The crowning of GIANTS’ club champion on Friday, October 5 will be broadcast live and free on the GIANTS app, website and Facebook from 7pm.
Hosts Leigh Meyrick and Alison Zell will broadcast live from the Hyatt Regency, bringing you all the colour from the orange carpet arrivals, live interviews with players and highlights from throughout the year.
You also won’t miss a moment of the action from on-stage with number one ticketholder and director Melissa Doyle to MC proceedings.
GIANTS members and fans are encouraged to get involved in the live stream by using #SheedyMedal on Twitter to ask questions, share your tips for the Medal and find out any other behind the scenes info.
The count could be a close one with vice-captain Stephen Coniglio a chance to claim his first club champion award after an outstanding season that saw him poll 11 votes in the Brownlow Medal.
2018 Virgin Australia All Australian half-back Lachie Whitfield is another GIANT who could claim his first honour, while co-captain Phil Davis could also poll well after many memorable performances at full back.
Fellow skipper Callan Ward could take home his second club champion award after claiming the inaugural Kevin Sheedy Medal in 2012, while reigning Sheedy Medallist Josh Kelly could create history and go back-to-back despite playing 16 games.
