Star midfielder Lachie Whitfield looks set to return to the GIANTS side against Richmond at the MCG, named on the extended interchange on Thursday night.
GIANTS fans will have to wait until the final team is named at 5pm on Friday to confirm if the All Australian lines up in Sunday’s huge clash.
Bobby Hill is a confirmed starter with the young forward told on Wednesday he’ll be making his AFL debut.
Hill will be one to watch with the 18-year-old possessing blistering speed. He loves to use it to place plenty of pressure on the opposition and can play as a deep or high forward.
Also included on the extended interchange is midfielder Daniel Lloyd, defenders Matt Buntine and Jake Stein and uncapped ruckman Matt Flynn.
Vice-captain Josh Kelly is out with a calf injury while forward Zac Langdon is also out with an ankle injury, both suffered in last week’s loss to the Lions.
The GIANTS take on the Tigers at the MCG on Sunday.
