The GIANTS are pleased to announce a solid financial performance for the 2024 season, delivering significant growth across multiple revenue streams.
The club generated an operating profit of $5,490,356 (includes Grant Revenue from the Office of Sport of $6,600,212), as well as a cash profit of $261,594, exceeding budget expectations.
Membership revenue was up 67 per cent on 2023 as the club achieved a record 36,629 members, and merchandise revenue and home attendance increased 52 per cent and 2 per cent respectively.
Looking ahead to 2025, the club is on track to continue its momentum, with membership revenue up 5 per cent year-to-date, membership numbers increasing by 7.4 per cent, and the club already surpassing 30,000 members for the fifth consecutive season.

“In 2024 the GIANTS executed on our strategic plan that was developed by our Executive team, in collaboration with the AFL. We’re delighted that these actions drove such strong operational and financial outcomes.
“The club delivered positive results across all key metrics, including setting a new membership record of 36,629 members, with our men’s team finishing in the top four.
“With the continued positive impact of Opening Round and the impending completion of a major capital works project at our training and administration facility, we look ahead to successful AFL and AFLW seasons in 2025.”
