The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS are pleased to announce they have signed Australia’s leading specialist life insurance broker, Lifebroker, as their co-major partner.

The announcement comes ahead of tonight’s 2011 NAB AFL Draft in Sydney when the GIANTS will secure some of Australia’s best young talent with 11 of the first 14 selections.

Lifebroker joins SKODA as a co-major partner of the GIANTS for the next three years. The partnership agreement includes rights to its logo on the back of the GIANTS home jumper and front of its clash jumper (see attached photo)
GIANTS Chief Executive David Matthews said he was delighted to welcome Lifebroker as a co-major partner for the AFL’s 18th and newest club.

“I want to thank Lifebroker for its support and the faith and investment it has made in the GIANTS as we head into our inaugural year in the AFL competition in 2012,” Mr Matthews said.

“This partnership builds on the GIANTS’ success off the field and is a great opportunity for the GIANTS and Lifebroker to build their brands and we look forward to a successful partnership.”

GIANTS 2012 memberships have been launched this week and the club will host the GIANT Day Out at Blacktown International Sportspark this Sunday November 27 to give the people of Greater Western Sydney an opportunity to meet the players and coaching staff.

The GIANTS are hoping to build on their more than 12,000 foundation members in 2011. They will play their first AFL premiership match against the Sydney Swans at ANZ Stadium on Saturday March 24 and will also play home games at SKODA Stadium, Blacktown International Sportspark and Manuka Oval in Canberra during 2012.

Lifebroker CEO, Chris Eade, said he was proud to partner the Giants and hoped the association would help bring success to the club in the years to come.

“Both our organisations want to grow their profile with a national audience and both are newcomers to their respective games,” he said. “Lifebroker has quickly become one of Australia’s biggest brokers of life insurance, an achievement we hope we can also help bring to the GIANTS.”
