GIANTS AFLW members get access to all 11 home and away games in the 2024 NAB AFLW season.

Download the GIANTS app and select 'My Tickets' in the menu at the bottom of your screen! Then select ‘AFLW Rd1: GIANTS v Western Bulldogs’ and from there you'll be able to save your ticket to your wallet.

GETTING TO MANUKA OVAL

Travel on all Transport Canberra services is FREE on game day to holders of a game ticket.

Have your game day ticket ready to present if requested by a bus driver or light rail Customer Service Officer. 

To plan your trip, type in Manuka Oval as your destination in the Transport Canberra journey planner: https://www.transport.act.gov.au/. You can use your entry ticket for your free return trip after the game.

Passengers are encouraged to take advantage of park and ride facilities where possible.

GIANTS SHOP

Come and visit the GIANTS Shop just inside West Gate! Gear up in orange for the new AFLW season. Members can get their member discounts and use their GIANTS Shop vouchers at game day!

VISIT THE CAPITAL BREWING TAPROOM

What better place to unwind after a GIANTS win, than the Capital Brewing Taproom, located in Building 3/1 Dairy Rd, Fyshwick. Whether a freshly poured beer, seltzer or the brand-new Blackberry Hard Lemonade, coupled with the renowned Canberra classic Brodburger, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Open 11:30am – 10pm on Saturday.

MOST VALUABLE GIANT, PRESENTED BY WESTERN SYDNEY UNIVERSITY 

Vote for your Most Valuable GIANT! After our game on Saturday, GIANTS fans will be able to vote for their most valuable player in a 3, 2, 1 voting style. Vote via our Instagram story or on the GIANTS app  - Click here to download it now. The overall winner of the Most Valuable GIANT - as chosen by you  - will be awarded the trophy at this year’s Gabrielle Trainor Medal.

KICK A GOAL, PLANT A TREE

Capital Brewing Co has partnered with the GIANTS to launch the fourth year of their Trees for Tomorrow initiative in partnership with Jindabyne-based environmental charity Keep it Cool.

The 'Kick A Goal, Plant A Tree' program has Capital Brewing Co working hand in hand with the GIANTS, committing to plant a native Australian tree for every goal kicked by the GIANTS’ AFL and AFLW teams throughout both seasons in 2024.

TEAM SELECTION

The GIANTS will name their team at 6:20pm on Thursday at gwsgiants.com.au. 

BROADCAST 

The GIANTS’ round one clash with the Bulldogs will be shown live on Fox Footy and Kayo nationally and on 7Mate in NSW and the ACT from 1pm on Saturday.
