The GIANTS welcome back veteran Callan Ward and Irishman Callum Brown for Saturday’s clash with Hawthorn at UTAS Stadium in Launceston.

Ward returns for his 302nd game after missing the round 11 win over Geelong with illness.

Also returning to the side is Irishman Callum Brown after serving a three-match suspension for rough conduct in the last Sydney Derby in round eight.

The duo replaces injured pair Stephen Coniglio (shoulder) and Harry Perryman (hamstring).

The GIANTS return from the round 12 bye ready to take on the high-flying Hawks in the club’s first game in Launceston since the 2021 qualifying final win over the Swans on the Apple Isle.

Forward Jake Riccardi said the GIANTS are ready to hit the road again.

“Teams might not feel as comfortable doing so but we've built such a good record over the last 18 months that every time we do play away it feels like an advantage for us,” he said.

"We don't mind getting on the plane, staying in a hotel, it's just normal practice for us and we're looking forward to it.”

The GIANTS take on the Hawks on Saturday at UTAS Stadium at 1:45pm with the game live and free on Channel 7 from 1:30pm in NSW and the ACT, as well as nationally on Fox Footy and Kayo.
