Otherwise, download the GIANTS App and select 'My Tickets' in the menu at the bottom of your screen! Then select ‘Rd 5: GIANTS v St Kilda’ to view your ticket. You can then save your ticket to your wallet. If you’re having any issues with the app, ensure you’ve downloaded the latest version before trying to log out and back in, or deleting and reinstalling the app.

GETTING TO MANUKA OVAL

Travel on ALL Transport Canberra services is FREE on game day to holders of a game ticket, so getting to Manuka Oval to cheer on the GIANTS against the Saints has never been easier!

Have your game day ticket ready to present if requested by a bus driver or light rail customer service officer.  To plan your trip, type in Manuka Oval as your destination in the Transport Canberra journey planner here.

You can use your entry ticket for your free return trip after the game too.

Passengers are encouraged to take advantage of Park & Ride facilities where possible.

OPEN TRAINING SESSION IN CANBERRA 

GIANTS fans are encouraged to head along to the club’s opening training session on Friday to watch the side’s Captain’s Run at Manuka Oval from 1pm-2pm.

VFL CURTAIN RAISER

The GIANTS’ VFL side will play a curtain raiser to the club’s AFL side at Manuka Oval on Saturday so get there early to cheer on the GIANTS as they take on the Sandringham Zebras at 10:05am. The West Gate will open at 9:45am for the curtain raiser.

To access the VFL match please note you will need to hold a GIANTS membership with Manuka Oval access, or purchase a ticket here to the GIANTS clash with the Saints which includes access to the VFL curtain raiser.

GAME DAY ACTIVITIES

  • Make a big big sound and have loads of fun with our GIANT partners at the Cottage Platform next to the scoreboard inside Manuka Oval. With Canberra local DJ Vince bringing the tunes, check out the Harvey Norman Fitness Challenge as well as visit our friends from Toyo Tires who will have loads of freebies up for grabs!
  • Keep an eye out for the pre-game dance performance by local Canberra dance school, Elite Dance Studio, who will perform on field at 1:15pm (approx..) prior to the match.
  • Grab a bite to eat at one of Canberra's local food trucks positioned around the venue.

GIANTS FAN ZONE

Turn Manuka Oval orange in the GIANTS Fan Zone full of your favourite and newest activations for you, your family, and your friends to enjoy as part of our Live and Local Round Game Day.

Come and get your face painted before cheering on the GIANTS against the Saints, test out your handball and shooting skills with our GIANTS AFL and netball inflatables, or come try your luck in a number of games run by Canberra FM with multiple giveaways on offer!

*Please note that some of our activations have moved to outside of West Gate at Manuka Oval where they will be available from 11:00am until 2:00pm.  Make sure to check out all the activations prior to entering the gates as once you enter the venue you will not be able to come and go.

KICK A GOAL, PLANT A TREE

Capital Brewing Co has partnered with the GIANTS to launch the fourth year of their Trees for Tomorrow initiative in partnership with Jindabyne-based environmental charity Keep it Cool.

The 'Kick A Goal, Plant A Tree' program has Capital Brewing Co working hand in hand with the GIANTS, committing to plant a native Australian tree for every goal kicked by the GIANTS’ AFL and AFLW teams throughout the 2024 season.

TEAM SELECTION

The GIANTS will name their team at 6:20pm on Thursday at gwsgiants.com.au.

The VFLW team will be named at 12pm on Friday at gwsgiants.com.au, while the VFL team will be named at 12:20pm on Friday.

BROADCAST

Saturday’s match will be shown live on Fox Footy and Kayo nationally from 1:30pm EST as well as live and free on 7mate from 1:30pm EST in NSW and the ACT.
