LAST WEEK

A colleague in the Fantasy game traded out Ryan Griffen last week and he was left kicking himself after topping the scores for the GIANTS on the weekend with 118. The DEF/MID collected 31 disposals and went on to lay 8 tackles to also beat al Port Adelaide players in the Fantasy stakes.

Sadly it was a loss on the real score board as well as the fantasy one with the GIANTS going down 1317 to 1600.

Jack Steele (37) wore the green vest after being recalled from the NEAFL and the in form Heath Shaw posted 81, his lowest since round 10.

TOP 5 SCORERS V PORT ADELAIDE

  • 118 – Ryan Griffen (DEF/MID, $443,000)
  • 100 – Rhys Palmer (FWD, $336,000)
  • 96 – Callan Ward (MID, $499,000)
  • 90 – Zac Williams (DEF, $361,000)
  • 88 – Joshua Kelly (FWD/MID, $405,000)

ON THE RADAR

At this point of the season, many coaches are looking to swap out under performing players for those coming up against teams who are easier to score against. The GIANTS take on the Swans this week, who surprisingly are letting a few big scores through like last round where six Magpies scored over 112. They follow up with Carlton and Melbourne in the final two rounds that should see plenty of points scored.

Look to bring in Heath Shaw or Callan Ward this week. The two mature players should step up in the final three rounds and would be in the mix to help you on your way to a Fantasy premiership.

WHAT’S COMING UP

The GIANTS went down by 21 points in round three this year to the Swans, but it was a different story on the Fantasy scoreboard.

With 1640 points to Greater Western Sydney’s name, Lachie Whitfield (128), Stephen Coniglio (127 and Devon Smith (110) enjoyed a big evening as ten players scored over 80 points.
