10 Reasons To Be There: The Land Of The GIANTS
There's just six days to go until the the we play the Swans in the Battle of the Bridge at Spotless Stadium - The Land of the GIANTS.
As we count down the days, we’re also counting down the reasons why you should get in quick and snap up a ticket to the big clash.
Much has been made of the tall timber in the forward line, with Jon Patton, Tom Boyd and Jeremy Cameron truly making it the Land of the GIANTS.
But the height doesn’t stop there with former basketballers-turned-ruckmen Rory Lobb (206cm) and Tom Downie (203cm) ready to impose themselves on the competition.
They’re not alone at that height with Boyd (202cm), Andrew Phillips (201cm) and Jonathan Giles (200cm) taking the number of GIANTS over the two metre mark to five.
The GIANTS play the Swans in the Battle of the Bridge at Spotless Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park at 4.40pm on Saturday, March 15.
The two sides will play for the White Ribbon Cup in support of Australia’s only national, male-led primary prevention campaign to end violence against women.
