The Prelim – 2nd Preliminary Final, 2017
94,258 people packed into the MCG for a highly-anticipated Preliminary Final clash between the GIANTS and the Tigers. The GIANTS had lost to Adelaide before beating West Coast to make it through to a second successive Prelim, while the Tigers had convincingly beaten Geelong to book their place in the second last game of the year. The first half was a serious arm wrestle as the GIANTS trailed by a point at half time.
