Superstar defender Sam Taylor and young gun Finn Callaghan return to the GIANTS’ line up for Saturday's elimination final against St Kilda.
An All Australian and Kevin Sheedy Medallist last season, Taylor returns from a hamstring injury suffered in round 23 against the Bombers after training strongly on Thursday.
Rising star Callaghan has also been named in the side, having missed six weeks with achilles soreness. Saturday’s final will be the 20-year-old's first finals campaign, after being drafted to the club via pick three in the 2021 draft.
Exciting forward Toby Bedford has also been cleared to play in Saturday’s final after his one-game suspension was overturned by the Appeals Board on Thursday.
Young duo Ryan Angwin and Toby McMullin will make way for the returning pair.
Coach Adam Kingsley imploring his players to bring the orange tsunami to the MCG on Saturday afternoon.
"That’s the plan, that's something that's served us really well most notably in the back half of the season. That's the way we play. We'll continue to back in our players and system and make necessary adjustments as the game progresses," he said.
"We’re really confident in our game plan. We think it stacks up in finals but that's yet to be proven, we get our first opportunity on Saturday to prove it."
The GIANTS take on the Saints at the MCG on Saturday at 3:20pm.
