Vice-captain Josh Kelly and reigning Kevin Sheedy Medallist Sam Taylor are two big inclusions to take on Fremantle at GIANTS Stadium on Saturday.

Kelly returns from three weeks out with a hamstring injury, while Taylor is coming back from a more serious hamstring injury that has caused him to be sidelined since round six.

The All Australian pair bolster the GIANTS side to take on the Dockers in a Saturday twilight blockbuster.

Kelly is averaging almost 29 touches, more than five tackles and almost five clearances a game this season and was in brilliant form over the opening 10 rounds before his injury.

Taylor has also picked up where he left off last season in which he made the All Australian team and won his first Kevin Sheedy Medal. Elevated to the leadership group, the 24-year-old is ranked amongst the best key defenders in the competition.

Out of the side are youngsters Ryan Angwin and Josh Fahey, who have both been omitted.

The GIANTS (5-8) remain hopeful of making a late charge towards the finals as they eye victory this week before the mid-season bye.

"Whether it's a capability this year or not, we'll play the games each on their merits and do the best that we can," coach Adam Kingsley said.

The GIANTS take on Fremantle on Saturday at GIANTS Stadium at 4:35pm.
