WIMR is making breakthroughs in medical research and applying these discoveries to some of the world’s most serious diseases. These include illnesses like HIV, diabetes, cancers, heart, kidney and liver issues and deadly viruses.
Keeping active is good for your physical and mental health. Did you know that it’s recommended that the average person walks 10,000 steps per day, which equates to around 8kms? In an average AFL game players will run a total of 13.5kms!
Most of us spend long periods sitting at desks or in our cars. It’s been shown that this, in conjunction with dietary choices, can have a significant impact on your health.
Are you up for a challenge? Walk, run or roll a minimum of 13.5kms in the month of June 2023 to help save lives!
