Everyone knows GIANTS players are talented footballers but how much do you really know about their lives off the field?
Here are five things you didn’t know about dashing defender Nathan Wilson:
1) Hair Apparent – I haven’t properly washed my hair in over a year. In fact, I’m not really sure what goes on first - shampoo or conditioner.
2) Tattooed Talent – I obviously have a thing for tattoos and actually part-own a tattoo shop in Bali called Boss Ink. My favourite tat that I’ve got is a Kookaburra because I grew up on Kookaburra Drive back in Mandurah.
3) Sister Act – Growing up was interesting with six sisters. Being the only boy they used to dress me up a fair bit until I got to the age of 10 or 11 and realised what was going on. I quickly put a stop to that.
4) Flying High – The one thing I would never do is sky-dive. Even if someone offered me 1 million dollars I wouldn’t even consider it.
5) Orange obsession – I don’t really have any pre-game rituals except for eating an orange, either at the hotel or at home before heading to the ground. I think it’s because I remember having oranges at half-time playing juniors and it’s something I always associate with footy.
This regular series of player stories aims to bring GIANTS fans closer to their heroes by giving a snap-shot into their private lives.
