Wayne Cripps
A premiership winning coach with the Sandringham Dragons in 2022, Wayne Cripps joined the GIANTS ahead of the 2023 season as the new head coach of the GIANTS’ VFL side as well as development coach with the AFL program.
Just the fourth coach to lead the Dragons to a Coates Talent League premiership, Cripps worked with some of the country’s best under-18 talent in his time at the Dragons as well as his role as an assistant coach with the Oakleigh Chargers.
Cripps beat out a number of strong candidates to land the role at the GIANTS, with his professionalism and focus on development both strengths of his.
Prior to his coaching career, Cripps was a stalwart of the Eastern Football League in Victoria, playing 298 games for the East Burwood Rams.
Mitch Starc and Alyssa Healy, two of Australia’s most celebrated cricketers and long-time GIANTS supporters, have been officially announced as the GIANTS' new joint number one ticket holders.
