The nominee's for the 2022 AFL Players' Association Most Valuable Player Awards have been revealed.

Voting for the AFLPA awards is a two-stage process, with players nominating their teammates in stage one before selecting from a competition-wide field in stage two.

The awards involve AFLPA MVP, Most Courageous, Best First Year Player and Best Captain. 

Sam Taylor, Stephen Coniglio and Toby Greene have been recognised for their efforts this season, unveiled as the GIANTS’ three nominees for the AFL Players' Association MVP award.

After playing five games in his debut season, 19-year-old Finn Callaghan was nominated as the Best First Year Player.

Harry Perryman continued his renowned style of play this season, recognised as the GIANTS nominee for Most Courageous.

While all three captains, Josh Kelly, Toby Greene and Stephen Coniglio were nominated for Best Captain.

The AFL Players’ Association will recognise the achievements of the award winners in a large scale industry-wide event telecast on Fox Footy on Wedensday August 24.
