GIANTS Toby Greene, Dylan Shiel and Josh Kelly have been nominated for the 2017 AFL Player’s Association MVP Award.
The trio have been nominated by their team-mates and could be voted the 2017 MVP by players from across the competition before the award is announced on Tuesday night.
The awards night will also see the naming of the 22under22 side, which could feature Kelly after he was picked in the 40-man squad last month.
Kelly and Shiel could add another honour after being named in the 2017 Virgin Australia All Australian side a fortnight ago.
Meanwhile this is the second time Greene has been noted for his stand-out season with the small forward named in the 40-man Virgin All Australian squad last month.
GIANTS co-captains Callan Ward and Phil Davis have automatically been nominated for the best captain award, while Ward has also again been nominated as the GIANTS’ most courageous player.
Young gun Tim Taranto has followed his NAB Rising Star nomination with his peers nominating him as the GIANTS’ best first year player.
