Canberra forward Hannah Wallett returns to the GIANTS side for the first time since round two as the only change to the team to face Collingwood in Melbourne on Sunday.
Wallett is a strong forward with good hands and is a reliable shot on goal who played the opening two games of the AFL Women’s competition, kicking a goal in the round two match against Carlton. She was selected as a free agent from the Belconnen Magpies.
Wallett was named on an extended interchange on Thursday night and confirmed as the only change on Friday. Fellow-forward Isabella Rudolph and defender Alex Saundry are the emergencies for Sunday night's game.
18-year-old forward Kate Stanton has been omitted.
The GIANTS travel to Melbourne for the penultimate round of the NAB AFL Women’s competition and take on Collingwood at their home ground on Sunday morning with live coverage on Fox Footy and AFL.com.au.
The GIANTS are coming off their first win against the Melbourne Demons and sit in sixth on the ladder while the Magpies are just above in fifth place with two wins.
