As the AFL announces one million members across the competition, the GIANTS are closing in on a new club membership record.

After two consecutive sell-out crowds at Manuka Oval in rounds six and eight, the GIANTS have reached 30,439 members in season 2022.

The club is just 402 members away from its all-time club record of 30,841 members and aiming to reach 31,500 members before the season is out!

The GIANTS want to thank our loyal members for sticking with both our teams though two tough years where the orange army were restricted in seeing them live.

With seven home AFL games remaining across GIANTS Stadium and Manuka Oval - including two home games at GIANTS Stadium in the next fortnight - there’s plenty of time to help us break our membership record.

One in 25 Australians are AFL club members, with the AFL today celebrating AFL club membership numbers surpassing one million this year.

A total of 1,043,604 members have signed up to support their favourite club in 2022, surpassing the one million membership milestone 20 days ahead of the same time in 2021, in a year which saw the league achieve its all-time club membership record of 1,113,441.

The one million membership figure includes AFLW club membership which experienced an 89 per cent year-on-year growth to reach a record breaking 48,712 members for the first-time in the competition’s history.
