More than 600 fans from across Western Sydney have attended the GIANTS' first junior club night for 2013 at Blacktown International Sportspark.

Those attending took part  in skills sessions by GIANTS players such as Adam Treloar and Sam Darley and also enjoyed a range activities for kids at junior club level.

Sixty junior club coaches attended a coaching seminar conducted by head coach Kevin Sheedy, senior assistant coach Leon Cameron and assistant coach Luke Power.

Sheedy said the GIANTS Junior Clubs Nights are another great way to develop relationships with the people in Sydney’s west.

“Tonight was another fantastic opportunity to get to know the people involved in our game across all parts of Western Sydney,” Sheedy said.

“Nights like this allow the players and myself to connect with people in our community and find out why they have come to love Australian Rules football.

“I have met some fantastic people here tonight who have reminded me that what we are building at the GIANTS is great for not only our game but more importantly for the people of Greater Western Sydney."
