Versatile GIANT Adam Tomlinson will remain at the club in 2018 despite speculation linking him to a number of Victorian clubs.
Tomlinson is contracted to the club until the end of 2019 and GIANTS List Manager Craig Cameron ended all speculation of a move when speaking with SEN on Monday morning.
“We’ve had conversations with Adam over the weekend and we won’t be trading Adam during this trade period,” Cameron said.
“He’s keen to stay, he’s contracted and we’re keen to keep him so he won’t be traded.”
Tomlinson played 24 out of a possible 25 games in 2017 to take his career tally to 91 games for the GIANTS.
The 24-year old was one of the GIANTS best in the Preliminary Final against Richmond, gathering a career high 26 possessions playing on the wing.
Originally selected by the GIANTS with pick nine in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft, Tomlinson has become a fan favourite over the years through his work in the popular A-Squared digital series on GIANTS TV.
The NAB AFL Trade Period officially got underway at 9am on Monday and will conclude at 2pm on Thursday 19th October.
