GIANTS vice captain Tom Scully will miss Friday’s intra-club match at Blacktown with an ankle injury.
Scully sprained his ankle at training and could be sidelined for up to four weeks, but is expected to be available for the GIANTS' Round 1 match against St Kilda at Etihad Stadium on April 5.
Defender Tim Mohr will also sit out the intra-club match as he continues to recover from a knee reconstruction but is expected to return to the team during the NAB Challenge.
Number six draft pick Caleb Marchbank (knee), small forward Liam Sumner (foot), mobile forward Jeremy Finlayson (hip) and defender Lachie Plowman (elbow) will also miss the intra-club match but are progressing well in the rehabilitation group following injury.
Key forward Jon Patton remains sidelined following knee surgery in August and is eyeing off a mid-season return to the field.
