The GIANTS are pleased to welcome former AFL player Malcolm Lynch to the club as Manager, Indigenous Inclusion and Diversity.
Originally from the Tiwi Islands, Lynch attended high school in Sydney before being drafted to the Western Bulldogs in the 2007 AFL Draft.
He played two senior games before being delisted at the end of 2009. He was picked up by North Melbourne in the rookie draft in 2012 and spent a year on their list.
A strong Indigenous role model, Lynch will commence in the new position in 2022.
General Manager of Football Jason McCartney welcomed Lynch to the GIANTS.
“We’re really excited to welcome Malcolm to the club,” he said.
“We are based in Western Sydney which has one of the highest Indigenous populations in the country and this is an important role to continue to help the club across our own business but also to further our connections with our local community.
“Malcolm’s role will include working across the club at various touchpoints including people and culture, the GIANTS Academy, our community programs and within the football department.”
