The GIANTS and Swans will write another chapter in a storied finals history when they face-off in a blockbuster elimination final next Saturday afternoon in Launceston, Tasmania.
The GIANTS' 14-point win over Carlton on Saturday night confirmed Leon Cameron's men would finish seventh on the ladder, locking in the third Sydney Derby of the year.
The fixture will be played on Saturday, August 28 at University of Tasmania Stadium, 3:20pm AEST.
This will be the third post-season clash between the GIANTS and Swans since 2016.
The GIANTS have won both finals between the clubs, with the last coming in the 2018 elimination final when the GIANTS kicked eight consecutive goals either side of half-time to run out 10.19 (79) to 4.6 (30) winners at the SCG.
The winner of next Saturday afternoon’s contest will square off against the loser the Friday night qualifying final between Port Adelaide and Geelong for a place in a preliminary final.
All matches in Week One of the Toyota AFL Finals Series will be broadcast live nationally on the Seven Network and Fox Footy and streamed live on Kayo.

GIANTS Members receive priority access to purchase Finals tickets ahead of the general public. This exclusive pre-sale will take place from 2pm (AEST) on Monday August 23 via Ticketmaster.
To access the pre-sale, GIANTS members will be required to quote their 12-digit barcode number. You can find your barcode via GIANTS Account Manager, in the GIANTS App or in the Finals ticketing email they will be sent to members shortly. Members who do not know their barcode should contact the GIANTS Membership team in advance of the member pre-sale.
Accessible Seating: To purchase a wheelchair space or accessible seat, members and customers must contact the ticket agents by phone on 1300 136 122 or visit an outlet. At the time, they must clearly indicate their requirements so they can be seated accordingly. Wheelchair spaces and accessible seats are subject to availability.
