Strong, powerful, and a natural leader, Stone is a versatile utility capable of playing across all three lines. Taken with pick 15 in the 2020 AFL Draft, Stone made his debut in round four, 2021 and played four games in his debut season before hamstring injuries interrupted his year. Traditionally playing in the front half in his first few seasons at the GIANTS, the club moved Stone to defence in 2024 where his running power was a real weapon as he spent time across the club’s AFL and VFL program. While adding four games to his AFL tally in 2024, Stone continued to push his case with excellent form in the VFL side where he was awarded the GIANTS 2024 VFL Player of the Year award. Stone signed a new two-year deal last season to remain with the club until the end of the 2026 season.
